I publish my first blog post as I am working on the last of my grad school applications, Parsons, NYU and Maine College of Art. What an incredible amount of work this has been through the winter months! And as usual, it is cold outside. I yearn for spring and the settling of my stomach upon the arrival of decision letters. Whatever the decisions are. Eeesh. I like this Ho Chi Minh quote I rediscovered today in some of my old notebooks from college.
"Without the cold and desolation of winter there could not be the warmth and splendor of spring. Calamity has tempered and hardened me, and turned my mind into steel."
Far out.
